Description

The rumen is the first stomach of ruminant animals and serves as a crucial digestive organ in these animals. The morphological structure and function of the rumen epithelium play a significant role in maintaining digestive system stability and promoting animal health.
The rumen wall in ruminant animals is composed of three layers, progressing from the outer to inner layers: the serous membrane layer, the muscularis layer, and the mucosa layer. Within the rumen wall, the rumen epithelium is closely associated with its absorptive and metabolic functions.
Bovine Rumen Epithelial Cells are derived from normal rumen tissue in experimental animals. Each vial contains 5×10^5 cells with a volume of 1 ml. Positive immunofluorescent staining for broad-spectrum cytokeratin (PCK) or cytokeratin-19 (CK-19) confirms cell purity exceeding 90%. The cells are free from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
