    The small intestine is located in the abdomen, connecting to the stomach through the pylorus at its upper end and linking to the large intestine through the cecum at its lower end. The small intestine is intricately arranged in the abdominal cavity, extending from the pylorus of the stomach to the cecum, with a total length of approximately 5-6 meters and an open diameter about the size of half a basketball. It is composed of three parts: the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum. The wall of the small intestine consists of the mucosa, submucosa, muscular layer, and serosa. Its structural features include circular folds in the intestinal wall, numerous villi on the mucosa, and epithelial cells at the base of the villi extending into the submucosa, forming tubular intestinal glands with openings between the bases of the villi. The villi and intestinal glands are closely related to the digestive and absorptive functions of the small intestine.
    Bovine Small Intestinal Mucosal Epithelial Cells are derived from the normal small intestinal tissues of experimental animals. Each vial contains 5×10^5 cells with a volume of 1 ml. Immunofluorescence staining for cytokeratin-19 (CK-19) is positive. The cell purity is identified to be higher than 90%. The cells are free from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
