Description

COLO-824 is a human breast carcinoma cell line that was originally isolated from the pleural effusion of a 52-year-old female patient with invasive breast carcinoma. COLO-824 exhibits epithelial-like morphology and adherent culture properties, with some cells growing as rounded clusters in suspension. This cell line has a highly rearranged, hyperdiploid human karyotype with 11% polyploidy.
