Mouse C57BL/6N ascites lymphoma lymphoblast. Derived from EL4.BU.OU6. The cells were selected for a high level of IL-1 receptors.

Description

EL4.NOB-1 is a murine lymphoma cell line that was originally isolated from a specific strain of C57BL/6N mice. EL4.NOB-1 exhibits lymphoblast-like morphology and suspension culture properties. This cell line shows elevated expression of the IL-1 receptor and is resistant to TGF-β-induced growth arrest. EL4.NOB-1 also retains sensitivity to both autocrine stimulation and IL-1-induced inhibition of IL-2 production.
