Description

H441 (NCI-H441) is a human lung papillary adenocarcinoma cell line that was originally isolated in 1982 from the pleural effusion of a male patient with papillary adenocarcinoma of the lung. H441 exhibits epithelial-like morphology and primarily grows as an adherent monolayer. This cell line is hyperdiploid, with a modal chromosome number of 52, though variations from 44 to 59 chromosomes. H441 harbors a KRAS mutation (p.G12V; c.35G>T).
