Cell Name: Human Allergy-related Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

  • Description
Human Allergy-related Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are a heterogeneous population of immune cells derived from the peripheral blood of individuals with allergic conditions, primarily including lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. Morphologically, PBMCs are small, round cells. Allergy-related PBMCs play a central role in hypersensitivity reactions. Th2 cells drive allergic inflammation by secreting IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13, which promote IgE production by B cells and activate eosinophisl. Regulatory T (Treg) cells may exhibit impaired function in allergies, failing to suppress aberrant immune responses.
