Description

Human Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are a type of mononuclear cell population derived from the peripheral blood of ALS patients, mainly including lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. Morphologically, PBMCs are generally round or oval. The core function of PBMCs in ALS patients is to participate in immune regulation and inflammatory response. Their abnormal activation can lead to increased release of proinflammatory cytokines (such as IL-6, TNF-α), reflecting ongoing neuroinflammatory.
