Description

Human Artherosclerosis Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are a group of immune cells isolated from the peripheral blood of patients with atherosclerosis, mainly including lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. Morphologically, thses cells are round or oval in shape. These cells play a core role in the immune inflammatory response of atherosclerosis: monocytes can differentiate into macrophages, and T cells aggravate vascular wall inflammation by secreting proinflammatory factors such as IFN-γ and TNF-α, while regulatory T cells (Treg) have anti-inflammatory protective effects.
