Description

Human Bladder Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are isolated from the peripheral blood of bladder cancer patients, mainly including lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. PBMCs participate in the regulation of the body’s immune response, among which T cells and NK cells have anti-tumor activity, while regulatory T cells (Treg) and myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) may contribute immune evasion. In bladder cancer, the composition and function of PBMCs are closely related with disease progression, such as inhibition of effector T cell function and activation of PD-1/PD-L1 pathways. These changes can be used as predictive markers for the efficacy of immunotherapy (such as checkpoint inhibitors).
