Cell Name: Human Brain Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

  • Description
Human Brain Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are mainly derived from the patient’s peripheral blood. They are represent a heterogeneous cell population, including lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. Morphologically, PBMCs are round or oval. PBMCs are mainly involved in immune surveillance and tumor microenvironment regulation in brain cancer: CD8+ T cells can recognize tumor antigens, NK cells mediate natural killing, and monocytes differentiate into tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs), which may have both tumor-promoting and tumor-suppressive functions.
