  • Description
    Human CD16-/CD66b+ Eosinophils-Negatively Selected are primary granulocytes isolated from peripheral blood, enriched for eosinophils and depleted of other cell types. These eosinophils play a critical role in immune defense against parasitic, bacterial, and viral infections, as well as in allergic inflammatory responses like asthma. They exhibit bilobed nuclei and cytotoxic granules containing proteins like eosinophil peroxidase and major basic protein (MBP). CD66b, a surface protein highly expressed on these eosinophils, regulates their adhesion and activation during immune responses. The cells are cryopreserved at early passage and cannot proliferate or be passaged. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to maintain their functionality and viability.
