Cell Name: Human Cervical Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

  • Description
Human Cervical Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are derived from the peripheral blood of patients with cervical cancer and separated by density gradient centrifugation. Round or oval mononuclear cells; suspension growth; weak adhesion. They contain T cells, B cells, NK cells and monocytes. These cells are round or oval in shape. Upregulated immune checkpoint molecules like PD-1 and CTLA-4; altered Th1/Th2 ratio indicating immune dysregulationThey are involved in anti-tumor immune responses. Studies have shown that abnormal phenotypes such as upregulated PD-1/CTLA-4 expression and imbalanced Th1/Th2 ratios are often found in PBMCs of patients with cervical cancer.PBMCs are non-tumorigenic but reflect tumor-associated immune dysfunction. Involvement in anti-tumor immune response and immune escape mechanisms related to cervical cancer progression.

  • Application
Human Cervical Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells can be used to study immune mechanisms, such as analyzing the expression of T cell exhaustion markers (PD-1, CTLA-4, TIM-3), and then studying how the cervical cancer microenvironment inhibits immune responses. They can also be used to test the activation effects of new immune checkpoint inhibitors, CAR-T cell therapy or vaccines on PBMCs.
