Description

Common bile duct disorders such as bile duct obstruction, primary sclerosing cholangitis, and cholangiocarcinoma all primarily affect the epithelial cells lining the bile ducts. Therefore, researching the biological characteristics and pathological changes of bile duct epithelial cells is of significant importance. During the progression of these disorders, the epithelial cells of the intrahepatic bile ducts are often exposed to elevated levels of inflammatory factors, resulting in characteristic pathological changes such as cellular injury and secondary proliferation.
