Description

Human Gout Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs) are mononuclear cell populations obtained from the peripheral blood of gout patients, and primariily consist of lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. Morphologically, these cells are round or oval. PBMCs of gout patients participate in innate and adaptive immune responses, among which monocytes can differentiate into macrophages or dendritic cells, while abnormal activation of T cells (especially Th17 cells) can aggravate inflammatory responses. These immune disorders are closely related to the occurrence and development of gout, manifested as acute arthritis attacks and chronic tophi formation.
