Cell Name: Human Kidney Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

  • Description
Human Kidney Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are a population of mononuclear cells isolated from the peripheral blood of patients with renal cancer, mainly including lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. PBMCs play a core role in immune response: T cells mediate cellular immunity, B cells produce antibodies, NK cells perform natural killing functions, and monocytes can differentiate into macrophages or dendritic cells to participate in antigen presentation. In renal cancer, the composition and function of PBMCs are often abnormal, such as an increase in the proportion of regulatory T cells (Treg) or inhibition of effector T cell function, leading to tumor immune escape.

PBMCs can also be used to evaluate the efficacy of immunotherapies, such as PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors, CAR-T therapy.
