Cell Name: Human Liver Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

  • Description
Human Liver Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are isolated from the peripheral blood of patients with liver cancer, mainly including lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. PBMCs play a central role in immune regulation, among which cytotoxic T cells and NK cells can recognize and eliminate tumor cells, while regulatory T cells (Tregs) may inhibit anti-tumor immune responses and promote liver cancer progression. Monocytes can differentiate into tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and participate in the formation of the tumor microenvironment. In hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), alterations in the composition and function of PBMCs are closely related to disease progression, such as T cell exhaustion, NK cell function inhibition, and expansion of immunosuppressive cells, leading to immune escape.
