  • Description
    Human Mast Cells (MCs) are specialized immune cells derived from human dermal tissue. MCs originate from hematopoietic progenitor cells and are present in nearly all organs, including skin, lungs, intestine, and around blood vessels. Following primary culture, these cells are cryopreserved. Human Mast Cells (MCs) possess the ability to influence vascular development and tumorigenesis, exhibiting both pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory functions. Studies have shown that Human Mast Cells (MCs) are associated with the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease, mastocytosis and related disorders, as well as the regulation of epidermal barrier function. They can store and secrete vascular endothelial growth factors, including VEGF, CXCL16, DPPIV, endothelin-1, GM-CSF, IL-8, MCP-1, pentraxin 3, and serpin E1. In vitro, these cells do not proliferate and cannot be passaged, and repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided during culture.
