Description

Human neonatal epidermal keratinocytes are derived from normal male skin. These cells are keratinocytes, primarily located in the stratum squamosum of the epidermis. Following primary culture, these cells are cryopreserved. Human neonatal epidermal keratinocytes coordinate complex processes of proliferation, differentiation, and programmed cell death to maintain skin homeostasis, as well as promote immune responses and intercellular communication. Repeated freezing and thawing should be avoided during the culture process.
