    Human Other Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are isolated from peripheral blood, primarily consisting lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. Morphologically, PBMCs are round or oval. In cancer, the composition and function of PBMCs are often abnormal. For example, the increase of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) and regulatory T cells (Tregs) may promote immune escape, while the decreased activity of cytotoxic T cells (CTLs) weakens anti-tumor immunity. In addition, some hematological malignancies (such as leukemia and lymphoma) can directly originate from the malignant transformation of PBMCs.
