Cell Name: Human Ovarian Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

  • Description
Human Ovarian Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are immune cells isolated from the peripheral blood of ovarian cancer patients, primarily comprising lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. These cells play a critical role in antitumor immune responses, including antigen presentation (monocytes/macrophages), cytotoxic activity (NK and CD8+ T cells), and antibody production (B cells). In ovarian cancer, PBMCs are often functionally impaired due to tumor-mediated immunosuppression, characterized by increased regulatory T cells (Tregs), myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs), and exhausted T cell phenotypes, which contribute to immune evasion and disease progression].

  • Application
Human Ovarian Cancer Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells can be used to analyze the immune escape mechanism of ovarian cancer, such as detecting the increase in the proportion of regulatory T cells (Tregs) and the expansion of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs). These cells can also be used to screen biomarkers that predict the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors and evaluate the feasibility of adoptive cell therapies such as CAR-T.
