    Human parathyroid cells are derived from human parathyroid gland tissue. Following the primary culture, these cells are cryopreserved. Parathyroid cells are responsible for the synthesis and secretion of parathyroid hormone (PTH), which plays a critical role in calcium and phosphate homeostasis. Studies have shown that dysfunction of parathyroid cells is associated with disorders such as hyperparathyroidism and hypoparathyroidism. Human parathyroid cells are often characterized by the expression of PTH and chromogranin A. In vitro, these cells do not proliferate and cannot be passaged, and it should be avoided repeated freezing and thawing during culture.
