Cell Name: Human Pediatric Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

  • Description
Human Pediatric Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells are isolated from the peripheral blood of pediatric donors and primarily consist of lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes, which are critical components of the immune system. Pediatric PBMCs play pivotal roles in adaptive and innate immunity. T cells mediate cellular immunity, B cells produce antibodies, NK cells execute cytotoxic responses, and monocytes differentiate into macrophages or dendritic cells to regulate immune responses. Dysregulation of these cells has been associated with pediatric diseases such as leukemia, autoimmune disorders, and primary immunodeficiencies.
