    Human PB Neutrophils are derived from human peripheral blood.They are primary neutrophils isolated from peripheral blood. These cells exhibit a polymorphonuclear morphology characterized by a segmented (multi-lobed) nucleus.As primary cells, neutrophils are typically used immediately after isolation and are non-proliferative. Neutrophils are a key component of the innate immune defense system. They express specific surface markers such as CD66b, CD16, and CD11b, detectable by flow cytometry.They have strong phagocytic ability and can identify and phagocytose bacteria, fungi and other pathogens.Additionally, neutrophils kill pathogens by producing reactive oxygen species and other antimicrobial agents via respiratory burst. They can also form neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) to capture and eliminate microorganisms and Neutrophils have a short lifespan (approximately 5–7 hours in circulation) .
