The pulmonary artery is composed of three layers: the intima, the medial elastic layer, and the adventitia, which are closely adhered together. Among these, the adventitia serves as specialized supportive tissue, with fibroblasts being its principal component. Fibroblasts in the adventitia play a crucial role in vascular inflammation responses, vascular remodeling, and other related processes.
Human Pulmonary Artery Epicardial Fibroblasts are isolated from normal human pulmonary artery tissue. Each vial contains >5 x 105 cells in 1 ml volume.
