Cell Name: Human Submandibular Gland Fibroblasts

  • Description
The submandibular gland is a salivary gland located at the lower edge of the mandible. Its primary function is to secrete saliva, which plays an important role in chewing, swallowing, digestion, and phonation. However, salivary gland diseases and radiotherapy for malignant head and neck tumors often cause irreversible damage to the salivary glands, resulting in reduced saliva secretion. Human Submandibular Gland Fibroblasts are isolated from human submandibular gland tissue, cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. Each vial contains >5 × 105 cells in 1mL volume.
