Description

Human Thymic Fibroblasts are isolated from normal human thymus tissue. Fibroblasts secrete a non-rigid extracellular matrix (ECM) which is rich in type I and/or type III collagen. Thymic fibroblasts and the associated ECM have been shown to be responsible for normal thymus morphogenesis and lymphopoiesis. Human Thymic Fibroblasts are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. Each vial contains >5 x 105 cells in 1 ml volume.
