Cell Name: Human Ulcerative Colitis Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

  • Description
Human Ulcerative Colitis Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (UC-PBMCs) are isolated from the peripheral blood of patients with ulcerative colitis, mainly including T cells, B cells, NK cells and monocytes. UC-PBMCs play a core role in immune regulation and mediate the chronic inflammatory response of UC. Typical mononuclear cells with round or oval nuclei, suspension growth Among them, Th2 cells and innate immune cells (such as monocytes) are overactivated, leading to increased secretion of proinflammatory factors (IL-6, TNF-α) and damage to the intestinal mucosal barrier [1-3]. Overactivation markers on Th2 cells and monocytes; increased proinflammatory cytokines (IL-6, TNF-α).In addition, defective regulatory T cells (Treg) function may aggravate autoimmune reactions. Defective Treg function contributing to immune dysregulation and chronic inflammation.
