Cell Name: Human Waldenstrom’ s Macroglobunemia Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells, Untreated

  • Description
Human Waldenstrom’s Macroglobunemia Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells, Untreated are derived from the peripheral blood of untreated waldenstrom’s macroglobunemia (WM) patients, separated from whole blood by Ficoll density gradient centrifugation, and enriched with lymphocytes (such as T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. Mononuclear cells with typical lymphocyte morphology; may include abnormal clonal lymphoplasmacytic B cells with variable morphology Normal PBMCs maintain immune homeostasis through mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and antigen presentation, while PBMCs of WM patients can lead to pathological changes such as hyperviscosity, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, cryoglobulinemia, and organ amyloidosis due to abnormal proliferation of clonal B cells (lymphoplasmacytic cells) and excessive secretion of monoclonal IgM.Associated with clinical features such as hyperviscosity syndrome, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, cryoglobulinemia, and amyloidosis due to monoclonal IgM production.
