HBV integrated human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line. HBs-Ag positive hepatocellular carcinoma (Ed.III) with liver cirrhosis. Procuces albumin, AFP, CEA and ferritin.

    JHH-7 is an hepatocellular carcinoma cell line that was originally isolated from the liver tissue of a 53-year-old male patient with Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) accompanied by cirrhosis, The serum test indicate that patient are HBsAg(+)，HBsAb(-)，HBeAg(-)，HBeAb(+)，HBc-Ab(+). JHH-7 exhibits epithelial-like morphology and adherent culture properties. JHH-7 cell are tested positive for Hepatitis B virus genome by real-time PCR test, but the integrated hepatitis B virus genome is incomplete. Therefore its unable to produce hepatitis B virus. JHH-7 are highly express various hepatocellular carcinoma cell associated gene and protein such as Alpha-fetoprotein(AFP), Carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA), and Fibrinogen.
