    KLN-205 is a murine lung cancer cell line originally derived from a mouse squamous cell carcinoma of Nettesheim lung carcinoma. It exhibits epithelial-like morphology and adherent culture properties. The cell line maintains a very stable near-tetraploid karyotype, with 77-82 chromosomes, and few structural chromosomal abnormalities, limited to 6 derivative chromosomes, including chromosomes 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, and/or 19. KLN-205 is also tumorigenic.
