    KM-H2 cell line is a human Hodgkin lymphoma cell line that was originally isolated in 1974 from the pleural effusion of a 37-year-old man with mixed cellularity Hodgkin’s disease. These cells exhibit a uniform spherical morphology as suspension cells, including both bi- and polynucleated cells. The karyotype of KM-H2 cells is complex and unstable, with a hypotriploid karyotype with 3.5% polyploidy. The cell line shows detectable activity of acid phosphatase and non-specific esterase.
