    M2-10B4 is a bone marrow-derived stromal cell line originally isolated from the hematopoietic tissue of a (C57BL/6J X C3H/HeJ)F1 hybrid mouse. These cells exhibit fibroblast-like morphology, and adhere to surfaces in a monolayer growth pattern. M2-10B4 expresses laminin and collagen IV, while lacking collagen I and Factor VIII expression. Functionally, M2-10B4 cells are capable to effectively sustain myelopoiesis for both human and murine hematopoietic cells during extended culture periods. Additionally, this cell line are also capable to support specific murine stromal cell-dependent pre-B cell lines, making it an excellent tool for in vitro research.
