Description

Mature central olfactory system neurons can constantly renew themselves, and their new axons can grow into the olfactory bulb to form complete synaptic functional connections. The main reason for its ability to regenerate is because the olfactory nervous system contains unique glial cells, the olfactory ensheathing cells. We developed a simple, new, and reproducible method to isolate olfactory ensheathing cells. Each vial contains at least 1×10^6 cells per ml.
