Description

Diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and other retinal diseases are closely associated with pathological changes in retinal blood vessels. As research on retinal vascular diseases advances, it has been discovered that retinal vascular endothelial cells are key cells in these disorders. Obtaining a large quantity of high-purity endothelial cells through in vitro isolation and culture of primary retinal microvascular endothelial cells can provide a reliable in vitro model for the study of retinal vascular diseases.
primary rabbit retinal microvascular endothelial cells are derived from the normal eye tissues of experimental animals. Each vial contains 5×10^5 cells with a volume of 1 ml. Immunofluorescence staining for platelet-endothelial cell adhesion molecule-1 (PECAM-1/CD31) or von Willebrand factor (vWF) is positive. The cell purity is identified to be higher than 90%. The cells are free from HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
