Rhesus Monkey PBMCs are immune cell populations isolated from the peripheral blood of rhesus monkeys. They mainly include lymphocytes (T cells, B cells and NK cells), monocytes and a small number of dendritic cells. Morphologically, these cells exhibit a round nucleus, with variations in cell size and shape depending on the specific cell type. PBMCs serve as pivotal effectors of immune responses: T cells mediate cellular immunity, B cells secrete antibodies, NK cells play a natural killing role, and monocytes have the capacity to differentiate into macrophages or dendritic cells to participate in antigen presentation.
